Niklas Aronsson
I grew up in a small industrial village
called Gemla, in the inland part of southern Sweden. Rural life
which has formed me as a person and as an artist, fills me with love
for eventful nature. Being a painter with an impressionist touch, I
find not only the land and seascapes of the southern coast of Sweden
very attractive, but also the deep forests of the inland parts
around my hometown. I want to express the feeling I have for certain
places. I try to create a feeling for the viewer to imagine finding
themselves on the place. With my painting techniques of oil or
watercolor I depict moments of what I see and experience, with the
emphasis on the light and shade. I want to convey the feeling of the
joy and excitement I have to my motif, a humbleness before life.
